How to cancel PlayStation Plus

Cancel in PlayStation Account Management under Subscription. Benefits last until the paid period ends.

Steps

  1. Sign in to PlayStation Account Management in a web browser.
  2. Select Subscription from the menu on the left.
  3. Select Cancel Subscription next to PlayStation Plus.

Refunds, timing and things to know

  • You keep all PlayStation Plus benefits until the end of the period you already paid for. After that you lose monthly games, online storage and online multiplayer.
  • Games you downloaded free as part of PS Plus stop working when it ends. Discounted purchases and redeemed packs are yours to keep.
  • Changed your mind? Select Reactivate Subscription before the next payment date.
  • PlayStation also lists steps for canceling on a PS5 or PS4 console on the same page.

Save proof. Take a screenshot of the confirmation screen and keep the confirmation email. If you are charged again after canceling, our billing error letter can help.
