How to cancel Super Duolingo

Cancel the same way you signed up: in the app, on the website, or in your phone's app store.

Steps

1. In the Duolingo app: tap the Super icon at the top of the home screen.
2. Tap Settings (the gear icon), then Manage subscription.
3. Select Cancel subscription and confirm through the Google Play Store or App Store.
4. If you subscribed on the website: sign in on a computer, click your profile picture, choose Settings, select Super Duolingo, then Cancel subscription and confirm.

Refunds, timing and things to know

• Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription.
• You keep Super features until the end of the subscription period. Your streak and progress are not affected.
• Duolingo says canceling does not refund past payments, and fees are not prorated.

If someone else bills you

• Subscribed in your iPhone settings: follow Apple's cancel steps. Subscribed in Android device settings: Duolingo says to submit a support request.
