How to cancel YouTube TV
Cancel in a web browser at tv.youtube.com under Settings, Membership. Careful: canceling a free trial can end access right away.
Menu pathtv.youtube.com > profile photo > Settings > Membership > Manage > Cancel membership
Steps
- Go to tv.youtube.com in a web browser (computer or phone).
- Select your profile photo.
- Go to Settings, then Membership.
- Select Manage.
- Select Cancel membership and confirm.
Refunds, timing and things to know
- After you cancel you keep access until the end of your payment period.
- Free trial: YouTube TV's main help page says that if you cancel during a free trial you lose access right away (some device versions of the page say access lasts until the trial ends). Plan for it to end right away.
- You can pause instead for up to 6 months. After the pause ends you are charged the standard monthly price.
- Recordings in your library expire 21 days after your membership ends.
If someone else bills you
- If you pay through Google Play, you cannot pause; cancel in your Google Play subscriptions.
- If you pay through your mobile carrier or internet provider, you cannot pause; follow YouTube TV's cancel steps.
Save proof. Take a screenshot of the confirmation screen and keep the confirmation email. If you are charged again after canceling, our billing error letter can help.
